Fairylands's Richard Glover got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Fairylands's Lawrance Muggleton got a free kick in the 8th minute. Marco Paull could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Mack Schulzte made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Otto Jobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fairylands's Mack Schulzte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Jobson in the 18th minute of play. Mack Schulzte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Jobson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mack Schulzte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Jobson in the 23rd minute of play. Otto Jobson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Mack Schulzte 24 minutes into the match. Lewis Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Connolly having to interfere. Fairylands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Otto Jobson scored to the left of an out of position Mack Schulzte, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Glover in the 45th minute of play forced NSW Fighters's goalkeeper Jarrett Connolly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lewis Lord was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Richard Glover got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fairylands's Mack Schulzte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Paull in the 55th minute of play. Lewis Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Bartholemew Cochrane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NSW Fighters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fairylands the free kick. In the 60th minute, Bartholemew Cochrane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Richard Glover got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. NSW Fighters's Jarrett Connolly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save NSW Fighters from getting a goal against them. Mack Schulzte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Paull in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of NSW Fighters booed when Fairylands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale See didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, NSW Fighters's Marco Paull sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mack Schulzte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 74 minutes, Marco Paull made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fairylands's Mack Schulzte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Marco Paull cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Mack Schulzte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Jobson in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mack Schulzte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fairylands's goalkeeper Mack Schulzte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. NSW Fighters's Jarrett Connolly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lewis Lord in the 95th minute of play. NSW Fighters's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
