Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) lochies's Danny Mcjunkins started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in lochies's zone, Lawrance Tauschke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dakota Pegrum came out of the goal and Lawrance Tauschke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elliot Everett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Wardell getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lawrance Tauschke hit a great ball. Clark Dillon, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Brian Surman hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Dillon in the 15th minute of play forced Wardell's goalkeeper Humphry Mcmillan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, lochies's Potter Fitzsimmons got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Elliot Everett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Surman hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Clark Dillon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humphry Mcmillan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ivan Tauschke managed to get in a good position for a shot. lochies's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Tauschke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humphry Mcmillan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Wardell's Iggy Trenoweth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dakota Pegrum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brian Surman kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Elliot Everett struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Dakota Pegrum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wardell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Hands in the 55th minute of play forced Wardell's goalkeeper Humphry Mcmillan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliot Everett in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dakota Pegrum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Berry Mackney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliot Everett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Wardell getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Elliot Everett hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, lochies's Danny Mcjunkins ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humphry Mcmillan. Humphry Mcmillan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Elliot Everett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dakota Pegrum having to interfere. lochies's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
