The comeback kids's Damon Laughton suffered a concussion after 3 minutes and had to leave the field. When Ellis Voller fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lochies's protests and gave Ellis Voller a yellow card for diving instead. Jesse Glover took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Mcjunkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind lochies's goalkeeper Dakota Pegrum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Mcjunkins in the 23rd minute of play forced The comeback kids's goalkeeper Jesse Glover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The comeback kids's Doyle Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Danny Mcjunkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The comeback kids's Jesse Glover played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Tauschke in the 29th minute of play. Doyle Thomas struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dakota Pegrum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The comeback kids. If Doyle Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Doyle Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. The comeback kids's supporters rose to their feet, but Doyle Thomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dakota Pegrum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aron Letsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute of the match, Doyle Thomas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dakota Pegrum was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as The comeback kids's Ollie Bohn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dakota Pegrum. That made the score 1-1 after 42 minutes of play. Berny Tinsley hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Ivan Tauschke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Glover having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doyle Thomas was the one to do the kick off. Ollie Bohn might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dakota Pegrum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ollie Bohn ran back to his position shaking his head. Doyle Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dakota Pegrum having to interfere. A collision led to lochies getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nilson Hands hit a great ball. Fleming Ziliotto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dakota Pegrum. lochies's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ivan Tauschke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jesse Glover made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Doyle Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dakota Pegrum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danny Mcjunkins in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesse Glover saved The comeback kids from getting behind. Danny Mcjunkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jesse Glover tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Tauschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doyle Thomas in the 82nd minute of play forced lochies's goalkeeper Dakota Pegrum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes of play, The comeback kids's Berny Tinsley made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dakota Pegrum was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Doyle Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in lochies's zone, Doyle Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dakota Pegrum came out of the goal and Doyle Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The comeback kids walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
