Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reginald Jury took the kick off in the first half of the match. Moliagul's Lance Coleman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Everett in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Davey Giddey notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan. Humphry Mcmillan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boyde Shearn took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humphry Mcmillan. Humphry Mcmillan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Preston Shirdon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darian Guy in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Brian Surman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humphry Mcmillan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyde Shearn, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Ace Weller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berke Hanlen's shot from long distance in the 31st minute was not bad at all, but Moliagul's Lance Coleman knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyde Shearn in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Wardell's goal looked a bit too open when Reginald Jury came free, but Humphry Mcmillan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginald Jury in the 41st minute of play forced Wardell's goalkeeper Humphry Mcmillan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humphry Mcmillan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginald Jury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Wardell's goal looked a bit too open when Boyd Thiele came free, but Humphry Mcmillan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Case Walsh hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elliot Everett to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Brian Surman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wardell and the Moliagul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wardell's Brian Surman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Moliagul's Earl Howarth couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wardell. The crowd rose to their feet as Moliagul's Darian Guy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Humphry Mcmillan. That made the score 0-3 after 58 minutes of play. Elliot Everett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lance Coleman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lance Coleman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Everett in the 65th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Elliot Everett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Lance Coleman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Wardell from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Moliagul's Reginald Jury got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darian Guy got free with Humphry Mcmillan in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Moliagul's Boyde Shearn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humphry Mcmillan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Wardell defense, Boyde Shearn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humphry Mcmillan. The Wardell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humphry Mcmillan should have stopped the shot. Humphry Mcmillan came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Moliagul's Boyde Shearn. But to his dismay, Boyde Shearn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Humphry Mcmillan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginald Jury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Davey Giddey took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Humphry Mcmillan to make any attempt to save it. Elliot Everett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th match minute, Moliagul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ace Weller to maneuver through the defense. The Moliagul supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Moliagul would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
