Spectators: 6836 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 0) When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Otto Jobson sped through Fairylands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mack Schulzte. Lewis Lord was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Fairylands's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jarrett Connolly was a little too slow when Lewis Lord got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-2. After having played for 20 minutes, Lewis Lord managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fairylands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lewis Lord was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Richard Glover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Glovers short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Jarrett Connolly to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th match minute, Fairylands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrance Muggleton to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, NSW Fighters's Brye Aroege tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Otto Jobson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the NSW Fighters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Jobson couldn't finish the play. Otto Jobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mack Schulzte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mack Schulzte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Paull, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarrett Connolly was a little too slow when Lewis Lord got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 44th minute Carlos Watts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mack Schulzte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, NSW Fighters's Jarrett Connolly got control of the ball when Richard Glover tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Otto Jobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lewis Lord made a kick off. Lewis Lord's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarrett Connolly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Dale See kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, NSW Fighters's Brye Aroege broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 59 minutes, Curtis Williams mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairylands and the NSW Fighters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fairylands's Curtis Williams got a free kick in the 59th minute. NSW Fighters's Jarrett Connolly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Glover in the 62nd minute of play. Otto Jobson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mack Schulzte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Jobson in the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Richard Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fairylands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Glover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Fairylands booed when NSW Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blade Macinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Glover hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Marco Paull blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mack Schulzte having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Otto Jobson took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Mack Schulzte to make any attempt to save it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
