Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brad Inwood got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Jayden Bailey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brombin's supporters rose to their feet, but Jayden Bailey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Krause breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Barnes Grandison came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bringagee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnes Grandison couldn't finish the play. After 27 minutes, Darrell Askew mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brombin and the Bringagee players grew even worse after the yellow card. Darrell Askew kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Darrell Askew was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 29th match minute, Brombin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darrell Askew to maneuver through the defense. Brad Inwood took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clark Goodbun. Clark Goodbun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lucas Wang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Goodbun having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Lucas Wang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Goodbun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bringagee's zone, Clifford Pound stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Krause came out of the goal and Clifford Pound tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clark Goodbun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brad Inwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clifford Pound to strike the kick off in the second half. Jayden Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. David Krause tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Wang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Clark Goodbun made a huge save. Lucas Wang struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Clark Goodbun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bringagee. Lucas Wang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Clark Goodbun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brombin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Brad Inwood scored to the left of an out of position Clark Goodbun, making the score, 0-2. Lucas Wang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Clark Goodbun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Lucas Wang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bringagee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Wang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Brad Inwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brombin's Jayden Bailey got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Bringagee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnett Pound to maneuver through the defense. Bringagee's David Krause played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clifford Pound in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Brombin were awarded a corner. Jonty Coote went to the cornerflag to take it. Brombin's Jonty Coote was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Krause in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Clark Goodbun didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Damian Markwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Krause having to interfere. Clifford Pound sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
