Edward Wharton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Angelo Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brookes Miels kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Dakota Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, sorbonne united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrett Annis to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Wharton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jarrett Annis fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sorbonne united's protests and gave Jarrett Annis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Jarrett Annis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Herbert Todman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brayden Pukallus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Earl Collings charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Earl Collings the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Earl Collings kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Connor Lawrence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Wharton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brayden Pukallus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russel Trevena having to interfere. Angelo Day came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Eskdale's Bud Mosley. But to his dismay, Bud Mosley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Wharton made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Dakota Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brayden Pukallus in the 56th minute of play forced Eskdale's goalkeeper Russel Trevena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Connor Lawrence shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russel Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match, Bud Mosley got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelo Day was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Connor Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwards Quelch hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Angelo Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bud Mosley in the 78th minute. Edward Wharton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edward Wharton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Wharton in the 85th minute of play. When Bud Mosley came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Eskdale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bud Mosley couldn't finish the play. Bud Mosley might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bud Mosley ran back to his position shaking his head.
