Spectators: 6525 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 25) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patrick Waterland took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carter Glover showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Waterland in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Scorpion United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Bowman came free, but Stanley Maybury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Waterland struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Carter Glover didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scorpion United FC. The supporters of Scorpion United FC booed when Kewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Price didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Ryan Bowman made a precise shot to the right of Stanley Maybury. Scorpion United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kewell's Carter Glover played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Waterland in the 17th minute of play. Stanley Maybury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baxter Adair, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Ike Heathwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baxter Adair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanley Maybury having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Ryan Bowman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kewell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Bowman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carter Glover made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ike Heathwood in the 37th minute. If Baxter Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Dacosta Lawson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanley Maybury was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Kewell's Baxter Adair got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Scorpion United FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kewell were winning 0-2.

In the 57th minute, Patrick Waterland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scorpion United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Ike Heathwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ike Heathwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Scorpion United FC booed when Kewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordon Smoothey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Kewell's goal looked a bit too open when Ike Heathwood came free, but Carter Glover reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanley Maybury was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Baxter Adair capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baxter Adair really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 81st minute of the match, Ryan Bowman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stanley Maybury saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patrick Waterland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 91 played minutes Scorpion United FC got a freekick which was hit by Damon Cubitt. 93 minutes into the game, Ryan Bowman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stanley Maybury. Ryan Bowman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kewell eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
