Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 100) Jayden Bailey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Clifford Pound fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earle Shirdon having to interfere. Randolph Beckwith struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Clark Goodbun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toulkerrie. Randolph Beckwith blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clark Goodbun having to make a save. A hard shot by Ian Didlick from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Clark Goodbun's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Clifford Pound fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earle Shirdon having to interfere. When Edgar Staggard fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toulkerrie's protests and gave Edgar Staggard a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Toulkerrie's Edgar Staggard got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Brombin getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Adolfo Hodson hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Dani Tresise cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Clark Goodbun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Toulkerrie's goal looked a bit too open when Jayden Bailey came free, but Earle Shirdon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Randolph Beckwith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Staggard might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clark Goodbun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Staggard ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Randolph Beckwith made a kick off. Kirby Cawthorne charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kirby Cawthorne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kirby Cawthorne kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jordon Kerville took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clark Goodbun. Brombin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Toulkerrie getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Long Leydin hit a great ball. Toulkerrie's Randolph Beckwith got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Staggard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clifford Pound sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Jordon Kerville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Brombin's zone, Randolph Beckwith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Goodbun came out of the goal and Randolph Beckwith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Earle Shirdon made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Clifford Pound sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Dani Tresise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clifford Pound could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Earle Shirdon made a huge save. Toulkerrie's Earle Shirdon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jayden Bailey in the 94th minute of play. Toulkerrie walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
