Spectators: 8070 (Terracing: 6054, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Odd ran back to his position shaking his head. Angus Mcjunkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brad Inwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Angus Mcjunkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Inwood in the 18th minute of play. Darryl Brotherton kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. David Krause came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ermington FC's David Odd. But to his dismay, David Odd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Angus Mcjunkins made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Lucas Wang sent off a good shot on target. David Krause made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Odd in the 29th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Bringagee got a freekick which was hit by Barnett Pound. David Krause stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Odd's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If David Odd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bringagee defense, David Odd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Krause. The Bringagee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Krause should have stopped the shot. David Krause made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Odd in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Bringagee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnett Pound to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Ermington FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brad Inwood made a kick off. With his leg David Krause managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Ermington FC's David Odd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Bringagee's David Krause got control of the ball when Darryl Brotherton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angus Mcjunkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnes Grandison in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Lucas Wang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angus Mcjunkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Odd came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Krause could save by the left post. David Odd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. David Krause tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Odd came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Krause could save by the left post. David Krause made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when David Odd sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, Ermington FC's David Odd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Krause made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5.
