Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jayden Bailey kicked off to start the match. Brombin's Clark Goodbun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bud Mosley in the 9th minute of play. Eskdale were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Brombin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conner Thorne took the corner. If Edward Wharton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bud Mosley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darrell Askew hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, Eskdale's Bud Mosley made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clark Goodbun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the match, Brombin's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Wharton came free, but Clark Goodbun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Wharton might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clark Goodbun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Wharton ran back to his position shaking his head. Edward Wharton scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clark Goodbun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Russel Trevena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clifford Pound in the 36th minute. After 39 played minutes Brombin got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Hodson. Clark Goodbun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Wharton in the 43rd minute of the match. Edward Wharton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Edward Wharton made the kick off in the second half. Bud Mosley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Goodbun having to interfere. A collision led to Eskdale getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hale Mcgirr hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Brombin's Darrell Askew sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Russel Trevena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Hale Mcgirr suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 72 minutes, Damian Markwell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brombin and the Eskdale players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Bud Mosley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Markwell hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Darrell Askew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes of play Brombin's Damian Markwell was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Damian Markwell kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Clifford Pound fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russel Trevena having to interfere. The Brombin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Eskdale's performance. The match ended with a win for Eskdale.
