The crowd rose to their feet as Remington Brooks kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stanley Maybury. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Stanley Maybury made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dwight Smalley in the 18th minute. When Darrell Dowling fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elite FC's protests and gave Darrell Dowling a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Elite FC's Darrell Dowling got a free kick in the 21st minute. Sam Couzens charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With his leg Stanley Maybury managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Elite FC's Remington Brooks fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, Remington Brooks fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Stanley Maybury, passed just outside the right post. Scorpion United FC's Stanley Maybury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remington Brooks in the 34th minute of play. Damon Cubitt hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to Scorpion United FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Herman Quinnell hit a great ball. Scorpion United FC's Stanley Maybury proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Scorpion United FC from getting a goal against them. After 43 played minutes Elite FC got a freekick which was hit by Russell Howie. The supporters of Scorpion United FC booed when Elite FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russell Howie didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Stanley Maybury showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dwight Smalley in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remington Brooks in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanley Maybury prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Remington Brooks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanley Maybury was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. During the 64th minute of the match Herman Quinnell completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Herman Quinnell a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Herman Quinnell kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 67th minute when Remington Brooks elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dwight Smalley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanley Maybury was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Remington Brooks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elite FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The Stanley Maybury was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dwight Smalley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanley Maybury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dwight Smalley in the 88th minute of play. Ike Heathwood struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Kenneth Plank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scorpion United FC. When Elite FC's Remington Brooks in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scorpion United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Stanley Maybury showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dwight Smalley in the 95th minute of the match.
