Barnes Grandison's late challenge caught a Sydney Rockets's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barnes Grandison helped the player get up and apologised. Bringagee's David Krause proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Bringagee from getting a goal against them. During the 13th minute of the match Barnes Grandison completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Barnes Grandison a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 14th minute, Barnes Grandison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corey Leydin in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Krause saved Bringagee from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Neil Gorham put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Krause. After a rather tough play, Sydney Rockets's Loud Wharton got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Corey Leydin struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. David Krause didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sydney Rockets. When Ellis Benton fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bringagee's protests and gave Ellis Benton a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bringagee's Ellis Benton got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Corey Leydin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bringagee's David Krause was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bringagee's David Krause proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Bringagee from getting a goal against them. Neil Gorham's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but David Krause firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Corey Leydin made the kick off in the second half. David Krause stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neil Gorham's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When Sydney Rockets's Corey Leydin in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bringagee's goalie prevented a goal. 77 minutes into the game, Corey Leydin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. David Krause was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neil Gorham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Krause having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Neil Gorham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Krause was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 93rd match minute, Bringagee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brad Inwood to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match Murphey Barugh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Krause skillfully saved the ball. Sydney Rockets were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bringagee for a fine match.
