Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when James Paull made the kick off which started today's match. If Kirby Digiuseppe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mack Veitch during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Mack Veitch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Bielski kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Chuck Shortus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dante Nunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Chute got a freekick which was hit by James Paull. Narrogin's Jonathan Ridding got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chuck Shortus struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dante Nunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Narrogin. With a little luck, Chute's Dante Nunn got control of the ball when Chuck Shortus tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jonathan Ridding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Chuck Shortus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Chuck Shortus notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chute's Dante Nunn. Dante Nunn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chuck Shortus to make the kick off. Jonathan Ridding blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Nunn having to make a save. Chuck Shortus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Nunn having to interfere. Jonathan Ridding struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dante Nunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Narrogin. When Darren Mcwilliam fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chute's protests and gave Darren Mcwilliam a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Chute was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darren Mcwilliam to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuck Shortus in the 68th minute of play forced Chute's goalkeeper Dante Nunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chuck Shortus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Zack Miels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chute fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Chuck Shortus came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Narrogin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chuck Shortus couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ridding took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Nunn. Dante Nunn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dante Nunn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chuck Shortus, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Fabian Bielski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dante Nunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chuck Shortus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Narrogin fully deserved thier win.
