Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andrew Burton made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, MXW UNITED's Dwight Norton got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4thth minute of the game James Paull who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MXW UNITED's Downing Barry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Dwight Norton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Nunn skillfully saved the ball. Dante Nunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Miels in the 8th minute of play. Andrew Burton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Nunn having to interfere. A collision led to Chute getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Darren Mcwilliam hit a great ball. Dante Nunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Burton in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling James Paull in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Downing Barry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter Miels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Nunn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Miels, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chute's zone, Peter Miels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Nunn came out of the goal and Peter Miels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Hines charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Hines the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommy Hines kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Zack Miels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biddle Barling kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MXW UNITED's zone, Zack Miels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Downing Barry came out of the goal and Zack Miels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and James Paull made a kick off. When Zack Miels came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Chute fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zack Miels couldn't finish the play. MXW UNITED's Downing Barry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Miels in the 58th minute of play. James Paull received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Downing Barry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If James Paull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Downing Barry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Paull, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Hale Hodson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chute's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MXW UNITED the free kick. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chute! In the 97th minute, MXW UNITED got a penalty, and Edmonds Meyers placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
