After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Logan Mcgrath to strike the kick off in the second half. Larkins Pike kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Benny Natt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Burton in the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Logan Mcgrath's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Downing Barry was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Logan Mcgrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Keefe Ayrton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Bowen's late challenge caught a MXW UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. MXW UNITED's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
