In the 11thth minute of the game Birrell Burmeister who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joachim Wiking TSS's Alford Kuskop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alford Kuskop stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Shipman's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffers Belford in the 15th minute of play forced Joachim Wiking TSS's goalkeeper Alford Kuskop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corbett Howie during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benney Lonergan in the 26th minute of play forced True Balance FB's goalkeeper Dale Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alford Kuskop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birrell Burmeister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Shipman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Wiking TSS's Alford Kuskop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Shipman in the 44th minute of play. The Joachim Wiking TSS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. True Balance FB were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barry Holdsworth was the one to do the kick off. Nicholas Cootes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Birrell Burmeister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alford Kuskop having to interfere. Birrell Burmeister's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alford Kuskop read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Al Gannan during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Joachim Wiking TSS booed when True Balance FB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Gannan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, True Balance FB's Martin Shipman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alford Kuskop narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Martin Shipman lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Alford Kuskop. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Holdsworth couldn't finish the play. Jason Rummens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute Barry Holdsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched True Balance FB eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
