In the 5th minute, Martin Shipman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The True Balance FB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Braedan Brophy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dale Lorenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. When Burtt Schutt fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Broula's protests and gave Burtt Schutt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of True Balance FB booed when Broula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burtt Schutt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Adolfo Travers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carsyn Quelch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carsyn Quelch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Shipman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When True Balance FB's Birrell Burmeister in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Broula's goalie prevented a goal. True Balance FB's Al Gannan got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Brookes Boothey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Broula and the True Balance FB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Broula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brookes Boothey to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Martin Shipman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsyn Quelch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Birrell Burmeister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsyn Quelch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Martin Shipman sped through Broula's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carsyn Quelch. Birrell Burmeister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carsyn Quelch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Shipman in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Shipman made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Birrell Burmeister recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carsyn Quelch. Birrell Burmeister showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Braedan Brophy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dale Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birrell Burmeister might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carsyn Quelch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Birrell Burmeister ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Carsyn Quelch managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when True Balance FB's Birrell Burmeister fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 66 minutes, Martin Shipman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. True Balance FB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Shipman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braedan Brophy took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dale Lorenz. Dale Lorenz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Braedan Brophy struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Dale Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broula. Birrell Burmeister did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Carsyn Quelch 80 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Birrell Burmeister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. True Balance FB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birrell Burmeister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Broula fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. True Balance FB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
