Paul Devine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Macinnes in the 9th minute of play. Crawford Sawbridge hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Hodson got free with Eden Slattery in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eden Slattery made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvin Hodson in the 13th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Queenstown's goal looked a bit too open when Navarro Tresise came free, but Eden Slattery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Old Town FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitchell Mealmaker to maneuver through the defense. Eden Slattery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Navarro Tresise in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Navarro Tresise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eden Slattery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Old Town FC's Alvin Hodson in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Queenstown's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Bryanne Anderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Alvin Hodson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Hodson got free with Eden Slattery in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dean Macinnes to strike the kick off in the second half. Paul Devine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dean Macinnes went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the game, Queenstown's Lowrey Cawthorne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Devine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Eden Slattery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Hodson in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Navarro Tresise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eden Slattery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvin Hodson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eden Slattery having to interfere. Navarro Tresise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eden Slattery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Navarro Tresise's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Old Town FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Lowrey Cawthorne scored 1-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Devine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Queenstown's goal looked a bit too open when Navarro Tresise came free, but Eden Slattery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvin Hodson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eden Slattery read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Queenstown's Eden Slattery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navarro Tresise in the 86th minute of play. Eden Slattery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Navarro Tresise, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Alvin Hodson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Old Town FC's Paul Devine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Old Town FC from getting a goal against them. After 96 minutes, Mitchell Mealmaker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Old Town FC and the Queenstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Old Town FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mitchell Mealmaker hit a great ball. Lowrey Cawthorne struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Paul Devine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queenstown. Although Old Town FC had been in control for most of the match, Queenstown still came away with the win.
