Spectators: 6750 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kevin Will made the kick off which started today's match. If Battle Muller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Fotas's Kevin Will sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacob Ceney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Excelsior FC's Jacob Ceney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Costante in the 6th minute of play. Roger Wood took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eraldo Scibilia. Fotas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kevin Will scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Ceney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacob Ceney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Costante in the 20th minute of the match. If Kevin Will had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Costante scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Ceney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Porter Mills left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Excelsior FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 41 played minutes Excelsior FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Goucher. Amos Sibbold kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Natalio Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fotas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Costante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Excelsior FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fotas were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nick Turnor to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fotas's Rick Fessey got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Fotas's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Turnor came free, but Eraldo Scibilia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Nick Turnor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Costante scored 1-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Ceney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kevin Will sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kevin Will had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eraldo Scibilia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porter Mills, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nick Turnor took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eraldo Scibilia. Eraldo Scibilia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Natalio Costante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Will sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
