Kevin Will started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Fotas's Kevin Will ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Neville Hanlen. Neville Hanlen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Dallas Murphy hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fotas getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Brook Obree hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Kevin Will got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Tucabia getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Long Vaughan hit a great ball. Eraldo Scibilia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burt Inwood in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Long Vaughan during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Long Vaughan kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Fotas's goal looked a bit too open when Navin Rosenboom came free, but Eraldo Scibilia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burt Inwood in the 31st minute of play forced Fotas's goalkeeper Eraldo Scibilia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navin Rosenboom kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Dugald Bowen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Neville Hanlen came out and tried to block the shot, but Dugald Bowen slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Tucabia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kevin Will fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 39th minute Burt Inwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Scibilia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eraldo Scibilia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Navin Rosenboom's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Tucabia's Neville Hanlen got control of the ball when Kevin Will tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Costante got free with Neville Hanlen in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Burt Inwood made a kick off. Eraldo Scibilia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burt Inwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Neville Hanlen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dugald Bowen went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, Dugald Bowen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fotas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The supporters of Fotas booed when Tucabia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russell Locke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dugald Bowen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Neville Hanlen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neville Hanlen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Will in the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tucabia defense, Natalio Costante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neville Hanlen. The Tucabia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neville Hanlen should have stopped the shot. Neville Hanlen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Will in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Dugald Bowen notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Tucabia's Neville Hanlen. Neville Hanlen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neville Hanlen came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Fotas's Natalio Costante. But to his dismay, Natalio Costante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0.
