Spectators: 6840 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lance Goucher kicked off to start the match. Darley Pinhey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Goucher in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Cawdor booed when Beachlands FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cassidy Howarth didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Goucher in the 10th minute of play forced Beachlands FC's goalkeeper Marco Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Iggy Obree left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beachlands FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Berny Schonke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lance Goucher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Price having to interfere. Edmonds Calver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darley Pinhey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Price having to interfere. Beachlands FC's Marco Price proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Beachlands FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Cawdor's Lance Goucher dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Parker Millar was the one to do the kick off. Bob Hemsley kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Darley Pinhey fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cawdor's protests and gave Darley Pinhey a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 minutes, Lance Goucher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cawdor and the Beachlands FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cawdor's Lance Goucher got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Jason Haydock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Beachlands FC's Iggy Obree sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Larry Beer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Loud Digiuseppe fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cawdor's protests and gave Loud Digiuseppe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Beachlands FC booed when Cawdor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loud Digiuseppe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lance Goucher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marco Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lance Goucher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Lance Goucher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cawdor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beachlands FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
