After 43 played minutes, Beachlands FC's Matthews Weeks shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacob Ceney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Porter Mills in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Price prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iggy Obree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th match minute, Excelsior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humphrey Slattery to maneuver through the defense. Porter Mills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Price having to interfere. When Nick Turnor came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Excelsior FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nick Turnor couldn't finish the play.
