The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cullen Nunn to strike the kick off in the second half. Dugald Muncaster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cullen Nunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Payne Pegler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corey Maddern having to interfere. Rowville's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
