Ned Stevens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Emilian Stârcea made a huge save. Jonty White sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jonty White came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Melbourne City 2030 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonty White couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes Melbourne City 2030 got a freekick which was hit by Jonty White. Dalton Jackson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Melbourne City 2030's Emilian Stârcea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Melbourne City 2030 from getting a goal against them. When Case Waterland came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Melbourne City 2030 fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in Panthers's zone, Jonty White stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conner Atterton came out of the goal and Jonty White tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Melbourne City 2030 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Mudie to maneuver through the defense. Karl Muncaster tried in the game's 92nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Emilian Stârcea. An annoying self made goal, 1-3. Emilian Stârcea made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Murphy Boneheyo sent off a good shot on target. Although Melbourne City 2030 had been in control for most of the match, Panthers still came away with the win.
