Todd Fraser helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gold Coast Ghosts FC booed when Lisdillon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Fraser didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gold Coast Ghosts FC's zone, Justin Beverly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cregan Duggan came out of the goal and Justin Beverly tried to chip the ball over his head. Justin Beverly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cregan Duggan having to interfere. Bock Peach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cregan Duggan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Justin Beverly showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 85 minute of play.
