An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillip Pegler in the 35th minute of play forced Melbourne City 2030's goalkeeper Emilian Stârcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Pegler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyeemagh's Brad Sanderson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the match Berny Delbridge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilian Stârcea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Berny Delbridge shot a long shot in the 88th minute and a light blocked Emilian Stârcea hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 5-0. After having played for 94 minutes, Case Waterland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melbourne City 2030's supporters crossed their fingers, but Case Waterland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melbourne City 2030's Emilian Stârcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassidy Bonnison in the 99th minute of play.
