Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brett Eicke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eden's Brett Eicke got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Notting's Alvin Scalzo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Samuel Tout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Payne Pegler, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, one of Notting:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Notting. 28 minutes into the match, Payne Pegler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Tout. Notting's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Payne Pegler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Brett Eicke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Tout having to interfere. Brett Eicke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Samuel Tout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Alvin Scalzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dugald Muncaster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Notting's Alvin Scalzo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brett Eicke made a kick off. Payne Pegler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Samuel Tout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Dan Bromfield was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Notting's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eden the free kick. In the 56th minute, Dan Bromfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvin Scalzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Tout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Payne Pegler in the 68th minute. In the 80th minute, Brett Eicke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Tout was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Payne Pegler was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Notting getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alvin Scalzo hit a great ball. Brett Eicke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Tout having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brett Eicke during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Notting booed when Eden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett Eicke didn't get a good kick on the ball.
