Jeffers Kreck hit a great ball. Boyd Gaffigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrod Stevenson having to interfere. The Kyeemagh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Bradshaw Forrest fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kyeemagh's protests and gave Bradshaw Forrest a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Kyeemagh got a freekick which was hit by Bradshaw Forrest. In the 26th minute, Drew Caddick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Kyeemagh's Brad Sanderson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Buck Leydin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Buck Leydin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffers Kreck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Sedgman hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Buck Leydin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Phillip Pegler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 90 minute of play. Buck Leydin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Pegler, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After a rather tough play, Melbourne City FC's Jeffers Fraser got a free kick in the 97th minute. Kyeemagh played a much better game than Melbourne City FC and deserved their victory. The Melbourne City FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
