Berne Pukallus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corey Maddern having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Rowville got a freekick which was hit by Randle Wittber. 25 minutes into the match, Rowville's goal looked a bit too open when Berne Pukallus came free, but Corey Maddern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justin Beverly in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corey Maddern saved Rowville from getting behind. Belton Mckay's late challenge caught a Lisdillon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belton Mckay helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rowville getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Belton Mckay hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lisdillon's Remy Behla got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Amos Moran came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Rowville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Moran couldn't finish the play. Christian Rutledge, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Evan Moorby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Moran in the 85th minute of the match. When Remy Behla was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. A collision led to Lisdillon getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Remy Behla hit a great ball. Amos Moran struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Evan Moorby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rowville. After a rather tough play, Lisdillon's Ed Muddle got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Amos Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
