Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Murphey Muddle started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Nero Atterton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wietalaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glenferrie the free kick. Nero Atterton kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes Glenferrie got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Minter. Randell Malacarne made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Brockman Stevenson sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Glenferrie's goal looked a bit too open when Brockman Stevenson came free, but Randell Malacarne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Wietalaba's Brockman Stevenson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Randell Malacarne came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Wietalaba's Bernard Babbage. But to his dismay, Bernard Babbage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a little luck, Glenferrie's Randell Malacarne got control of the ball when Bernard Babbage tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Wietalaba's Bernard Babbage ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Randell Malacarne. Randell Malacarne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 26th match minute, Wietalaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Hunter to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Broderick Johnston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Hunter charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Hunter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wietalaba's Antonio Hunter got a free kick in the 31st minute. Randell Malacarne made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Brockman Stevenson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murphey Muddle in the 35th minute of play forced Wietalaba's goalkeeper Jonathan Groves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brockman Stevenson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Randell Malacarne came out and tried to block the shot, but Brockman Stevenson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murphey Muddle in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Groves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Glenferrie's Randell Malacarne got control of the ball when Brockman Stevenson tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudy Limmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antonio Hunter kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Broderick Johnston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Wietalaba booed when Glenferrie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryant Cudmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ace Carnduff hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Rudy Limmer came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Wietalaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Limmer couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Glenferrie getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ace Carnduff hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Rudy Limmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Randell Malacarne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brockman Stevenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wietalaba's Bernard Babbage quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ray Bridson, made in the 77th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Rudy Limmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wietalaba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 87 minutes into the game, Brockman Stevenson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Randell Malacarne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Randell Malacarne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Babbage in the 92nd minute of the match. Randell Malacarne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brockman Stevenson went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score.
