Pinnaroo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Renney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Pinnaroo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Pinnaroo played a much better game than HASTINGS FC and deserved their victory. The HASTINGS FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
