Chuck Oconnell started the match with the kick off. After 11 played minutes HC Kings got a freekick which was hit by Dean Alcock. HC Kings's Kale Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Neich in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th minute Adam Neich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kale Wilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmund Ancell during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of HC Kings:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fort Kent FC:s goal. In the 26th minute, Fort Kent FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Chuck Oconnell fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fort Kent FC's Eden Lander got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Eden Lander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kale Wilde was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Adam Neich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drew Pears recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rufus Mapps's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugon Kaczucha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Dalton Fraser sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and HC Kings's Kale Wilde didn't even have to move. If Eden Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Neich in the 53rd minute of play forced HC Kings's goalkeeper Kale Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fort Kent FC's Hugon Kaczucha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Alcock in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Fort Kent FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Munroe Pearson hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Fort Kent FC's Adam Neich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kale Wilde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Adam Neich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Kale Wilde made a huge save. In the 76th match minute, Fort Kent FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Porto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuck Oconnell in the 79th minute of play forced Fort Kent FC's goalkeeper Hugon Kaczucha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kale Wilde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eden Lander's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Dean Dale charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dean Dale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dean Dale kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Fort Kent FC booed when HC Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Dale didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, HC Kings's goalkeeper Kale Wilde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Neich. Hugon Kaczucha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chuck Oconnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Dean Alcock heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neal Howie in the 95th minute of play forced Fort Kent FC's goalkeeper Hugon Kaczucha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Fort Kent FC defense, Dean Alcock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Kaczucha. The Fort Kent FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Kaczucha should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Fort Kent FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than HC Kings.
