Spectators: 8489 (Terracing: 6421, Seating: 1968, VIP seats: 100) Clanside FC's Bray Millar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Clanside FC's Bray Millar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Carsyn Howarth came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ike Pinhey could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Bray Millar took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ike Pinhey to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute, Bishop Toomey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hal Coldicutt hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ike Pinhey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bray Millar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ike Pinhey made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Bishop Toomey sent off a good shot on target. Remy Mcjunkin's late challenge caught a Clanside FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remy Mcjunkin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Skoolage United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remy Mcjunkin to maneuver through the defense. Skoolage United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Carsyn Howarth scored to the left of an out of position Ike Pinhey, making the score, 4-0. In the 34th minute, Clanside FC's Bray Millar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. In the 38th match minute, Skoolage United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remy Mcjunkin to maneuver through the defense. Ike Pinhey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Kennedy in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Bray Millar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ike Pinhey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ike Pinhey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carsyn Howarth in the 44th minute. A collision led to Clanside FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bryant Dalglish hit a great ball. Skoolage United's Darrell Sanderson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clanside FC.

The wind increased when Jacob Wakefield made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Skoolage United defense, Bray Millar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ike Pinhey. The Skoolage United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ike Pinhey should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Carsyn Howarth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clanside FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carsyn Howarth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ike Pinhey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skoolage United's Ike Pinhey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bray Millar in the 61st minute of play. Ike Pinhey came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clanside FC's Bishop Toomey. But to his dismay, Bishop Toomey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 66th minute, Bray Millar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clanside FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Ike Pinhey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bishop Toomey in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Bray Millar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clanside FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Kennedy in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ike Pinhey saved Skoolage United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carsyn Howarth in the 81st minute of play forced Skoolage United's goalkeeper Ike Pinhey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ike Pinhey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carsyn Howarth in the 83rd minute of play. Ike Pinhey came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Clanside FC's Hal Coldicutt. But to his dismay, Hal Coldicutt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. After 87 minutes of play, Clanside FC's Ike Erwin made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ike Pinhey was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the game, Clanside FC's Bray Millar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ike Pinhey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. When the referee ended the match the Clanside FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
