Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carver Eastman took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Duke Whelpton got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Antonia Howard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kirby Coleman's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Carver Eastman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ernest Devere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonia Howard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 played minutes Lappa HT got a freekick which was hit by Bock Kepert. If Handley Royans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Handley Royans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Antonia Howard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 32 minutes, Handley Royans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Handley Royans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Independiente's Kirby Coleman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonia Howard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirby Coleman in the 36th minute of play forced Lappa HT's goalkeeper Antonia Howard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Handley Royans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Antonia Howard made a huge save. Kirby Coleman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antonia Howard came out and tried to block the shot, but Kirby Coleman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute. Kirby Coleman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kirby Coleman to make the kick off. Stephan Calver kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirby Coleman in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonia Howard saved Lappa HT from getting behind. Stephan Calver's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stephan Calver helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Handley Royans managed to get in a good position for a shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 minutes, Bjorn Venz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lappa HT and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lappa HT's Bjorn Venz got a free kick in the 65th minute. Antonia Howard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Handley Royans, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of Independiente booed when Lappa HT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjorn Venz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Handley Royans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Handley Royans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonia Howard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Handley Royans in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute Handley Royans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonia Howard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bjorn Venz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
