Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Russ Natt got the match started through his kick off. Kirby Coleman scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joseph Breasley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 9 minutes, Nathan Mcneven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the Bushfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bushfield booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathan Mcneven didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Samuel Pywell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bushfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Pywell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Devere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the game, one of Bushfield:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Independiente. Brookes Withy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joseph Breasley. 0-2. Joseph Breasley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kirby Coleman's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 18 played minutes Bushfield got a freekick which was hit by Hank Lenard. After having played for 19 minutes, Handley Royans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Handley Royans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes Bushfield got a freekick which was hit by Arneil Ogle. In the 23rd minute, Handley Royans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernest Devere made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Samuel Pywell sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the game, Nathan Mills was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bushfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. A collision led to Bushfield getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nathan Mills hit a great ball. If Russ Natt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Russ Natt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Devere came out of the goal and Russ Natt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernest Devere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russ Natt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kirby Coleman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joseph Breasley made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Handley Royans sent off a good shot on target. If Samuel Pywell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. In the 66th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brookes Withy to maneuver through the defense. Joseph Breasley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Bushfield's goal looked a bit too open when Kirby Coleman came free, but Joseph Breasley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Breasley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirby Coleman in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Bushfield's Joseph Breasley got control of the ball when Handley Royans tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Joseph Breasley managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Independiente's Handley Royans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the match, Kirby Coleman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joseph Breasley, 1-3. Kirby Coleman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Breasley having to interfere. Bushfield's Hank Lenard pulled a muscle in his leg after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Duke Whelpton charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duke Whelpton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Duke Whelpton hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Independiente eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
