Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Murdock Maslin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dani Shipp charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dani Shipp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Dargal got a freekick which was hit by Dani Shipp. In the 10th minute, Dargal's Brandon Limmer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Dargal's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Jeffress came free, but Nichol Staworowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes, Murdock Maslin made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Oakwoood's Birrell Cootes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Dargal's Dani Shipp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birrell Cootes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murdock Maslin got free with Birrell Cootes in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Jeffress scored 2-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nichol Staworowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dani Shipp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birrell Cootes having to interfere. Birrell Cootes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brandon Limmer's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th match minute, Dargal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porter Waterland to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Ed Mcwilliam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakwoood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. A collision led to Dargal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Matthew Dollamore hit a great ball. A hard shot by Conner Price from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Nichol Staworowski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Brandon Limmer's late challenge caught a Oakwoood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Limmer helped the player get up and apologised. Brandon Limmer kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Oakwoood booed when Dargal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Cootes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Remy Quinane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichol Staworowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darell Boothey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birrell Cootes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Oakwoood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Jeffress to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Brandon Limmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dargal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brandon Limmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Dargal booed when Oakwoood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Kurth didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Oakwoood's goal looked a bit too open when Murdock Maslin came free, but Birrell Cootes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Oakwoood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Jeffress to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Darell Boothey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birrell Cootes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olin Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Darell Boothey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Murdock Maslin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dargal's supporters rose to their feet, but Murdock Maslin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birrell Cootes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oakwoood eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
