Hank Lenard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brant Anderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bushfield's Joseph Breasley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brant Anderson in the 16th minute of play. Hank Lenard took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryden Hitchen. Bryden Hitchen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lucaston's Bryden Hitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russ Natt in the 21st minute of play. Browne Boyce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute of the match Bushfield got a corner. Lucaston's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brooks Knevett ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Bushfield's Brooks Knevett to fire away a dangerous shot which Bryden Hitchen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Pywell came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobie Lyle charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobie Lyle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Lucaston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobie Lyle to maneuver through the defense. Brant Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Breasley having to interfere. In the 39th minute Abraham Block shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryden Hitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucaston's Brant Anderson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brant Anderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Bushfield's goal looked a bit too open when Browne Boyce came free, but Joseph Breasley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Bushfield got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Block. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Russ Natt made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brant Anderson in the 55th minute of play forced Bushfield's goalkeeper Joseph Breasley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brant Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Breasley having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Lucaston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobie Lyle to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 59 minutes, Russ Natt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bushfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Russ Natt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Block got free with Bryden Hitchen in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Brant Anderson made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Breasley. Bushfield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 72 minutes, Hank Lenard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bushfield and the Lucaston players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joseph Breasley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brant Anderson in the 79th minute of the match. Hank Lenard kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Browne Boyce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Joseph Breasley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
