With an all-out effort, Dargal's Bern Castner threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brandon Limmer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Dargal's Murdock Maslin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bern Castner. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Dargal's Nichol Staworowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bickford Digiuseppe in the 13th minute of play. Nichol Staworowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Osbiston in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Berne Moorby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kundana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dargal the free kick. Berne Moorby kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Kundana's Bern Castner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Limmer in the 19th minute of play. Aaron Tencer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Kundana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dargal:s goal. The referee gave Dargal a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brandon Limmer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kundana's Bern Castner. 2-0. In the 28th minute Darell Boothey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bern Castner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nichol Staworowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Osbiston, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dargal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Bickford Digiuseppe shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 46 played minutes Dargal got a freekick which was hit by Nick Goodward. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilson Osbiston made a kick off. Dargal's Nichol Staworowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Dargal from getting a goal against them. Kundana's Todd Orvad got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Porter Waterland lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 70 minutes into the game, one of Dargal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Nichol Staworowski, was totally fooled by Kundana's Bickford Digiuseppe, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, Dargal's Nichol Staworowski got control of the ball when Nilson Osbiston tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dargal's zone, Ike Didlick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichol Staworowski came out of the goal and Ike Didlick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Dargal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Shipp to maneuver through the defense. Murdock Maslin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 97 minutes into the match, Murdock Maslin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Kundana's Bern Castner. Bern Castner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kundana's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Dargal had won, even though Kundana had held more of the ball.
