Spectators: 8408 (Terracing: 6306, Seating: 1934, VIP seats: 168) Brant Anderson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lucaston! When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Skoolage United's Darrell Sanderson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bryden Hitchen. The supporters of Lucaston booed when Skoolage United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corey Rhoades didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ike Pinhey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brant Anderson in the 10th minute of play. Ike Pinhey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Browne Boyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes Lucaston got a freekick which was hit by Tobie Lyle. 22 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Dorrell came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goalkeeper Bryden Hitchen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remy Mcjunkin. Brant Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ike Pinhey having to interfere. In the 27th minute Browne Boyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ike Pinhey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Skoolage United's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Anderson came free, but Ike Pinhey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Browne Boyce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ike Pinhey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Mcinnis charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Mcinnis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Mcinnis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Lucaston's Brant Anderson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ike Pinhey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Brant Anderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Browne Boyce came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Lucaston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Browne Boyce couldn't finish the play. Brant Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ike Pinhey having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Brant Anderson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lucaston getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tobie Lyle hit a great ball. Ike Pinhey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brant Anderson in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lucaston's goalkeeper Bryden Hitchen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Lucaston got a freekick which was hit by Tobie Lyle. Lucaston's Bryden Hitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Dorrell in the 71st minute of play. If Browne Boyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Brant Anderson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ike Pinhey, passed just outside the right post. If Brant Anderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ike Pinhey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brant Anderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Tobie Lyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ike Pinhey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brant Anderson in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Brant Anderson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Skoolage United getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Corey Rhoades hit a great ball. Tobie Lyle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ike Pinhey. Skoolage United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Brant Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ike Pinhey having to interfere. Lucaston were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
