When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Brett Wright took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ike Pinhey to make any attempt to save it. 23 minutes into the game, Dante Dorrell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Richard Connolly was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacob Wakefield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Connolly having to interfere. Skoolage United's Ike Pinhey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brown Soekirno in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Wright in the 55th minute of play forced Skoolage United's goalkeeper Ike Pinhey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Brown Soekirno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sam Quinnell was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Landervale's Sam Quinnell got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ike Pinhey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brown Soekirno in the 65th minute of the match. Ike Pinhey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brown Soekirno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Brett Wright left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landervale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Brown Soekirno scored 4-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ike Pinhey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Brown Soekirno sped through Skoolage United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ike Pinhey. Landervale's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
