Spectators: 8404 (Terracing: 6303, Seating: 1933, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacob Wakefield kicked off to start the match. Oakwoood's Birrell Cootes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Oakwoood from getting a goal against them. Skoolage United's Ike Pinhey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Jeffress in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Skoolage United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Potter Reynolds to maneuver through the defense. Ike Pinhey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remy Quinane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Brad Coleman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakwoood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Darrell Sanderson came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Skoolage United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darrell Sanderson couldn't finish the play. Brad Coleman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Darrell Sanderson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Skoolage United's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Quinane came free, but Ike Pinhey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skoolage United's Corey Rhoades got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Oakwoood's Conner Price broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Brad Coleman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oakwoood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brad Coleman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Skoolage United's Ike Pinhey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brad Coleman in the 38th minute of play. If Carlos Jeffress had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brad Coleman during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Oakwoood got a freekick which was hit by Brad Coleman. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remy Quinane to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Skoolage United's Ike Pinhey got control of the ball when Ed Mcwilliam tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Skoolage United defense, Ed Mcwilliam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ike Pinhey. The Skoolage United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ike Pinhey should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Skoolage United's goalkeeper Ike Pinhey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ed Mcwilliam. Ed Mcwilliam's late challenge caught a Skoolage United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ed Mcwilliam helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skoolage United booed when Oakwoood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ed Mcwilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darrell Sanderson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Oakwoood getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Conner Price hit a great ball. Ike Pinhey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ed Mcwilliam in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Remy Quinane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oakwoood's supporters rose to their feet, but Remy Quinane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ike Pinhey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes Oakwoood got a freekick which was hit by Conner Price. In the 72nd minute Dante Dorrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birrell Cootes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ed Mcwilliam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ike Pinhey made a huge save. Conner Price's late challenge caught a Skoolage United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conner Price helped the player get up and apologised. 80 minutes into the game, one of Oakwoood:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ike Pinhey made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ed Mcwilliam sent off a good shot on target. Remy Mcjunkin struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Birrell Cootes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skoolage United. Dante Dorrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birrell Cootes having to interfere. Ike Pinhey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Jeffress in the 91st minute of the match. Brad Coleman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ike Pinhey having to make a save. In the 98th minute, Ed Mcwilliam made a precise shot to the right of Ike Pinhey. Skoolage United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Oakwoood played a much better game than Skoolage United and deserved their victory. The Skoolage United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
