Spectators: 8515 (Terracing: 6440, Seating: 1975, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bray Millar took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Brad Coleman came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Oakwoood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brad Coleman couldn't finish the play. Bray Millar had several of the Oakwoood's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Birrell Cootes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Carsyn Howarth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Birrell Cootes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carsyn Howarth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Birrell Cootes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birrell Cootes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bray Millar's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Oakwoood's Birrell Cootes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Oakwoood from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Oakwoood's Ed Mcwilliam got a free kick in the 18th minute. Carsyn Howarth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Carlos Jeffress hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Clanside FC got a freekick which was hit by Bray Millar. Darin Gracey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Jeffress, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Darin Gracey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ed Mcwilliam in the 27th minute of the match. Bray Millar might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birrell Cootes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bray Millar ran back to his position shaking his head. The Clanside FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Clanside FC's Carsyn Howarth looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rufus Awege hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remy Quinane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bishop Toomey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Bray Millar made a precise shot to the right of Birrell Cootes. Oakwoood's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Clanside FC's Darin Gracey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Jeffress in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Oakwoood getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Carlos Jeffress hit a great ball. Carsyn Howarth took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birrell Cootes. Birrell Cootes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A collision led to Clanside FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pearce Phasey hit a great ball. Remy Quinane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Darin Gracey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Bray Millar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birrell Cootes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birrell Cootes came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Clanside FC's Cliff Cameron. But to his dismay, Cliff Cameron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 79 minutes into the match, Bray Millar notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Oakwoood's Birrell Cootes. Birrell Cootes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roger Kennedy took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birrell Cootes. Birrell Cootes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Ike Erwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birrell Cootes having to interfere. After some careless play in the Oakwoood defense, Carsyn Howarth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Birrell Cootes. The Oakwoood fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birrell Cootes should have stopped the shot. Birrell Cootes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ike Erwin in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Clanside FC had played much better football throughout.
