Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brett Wright started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With his leg Richard Connolly managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Dargal's Darell Boothey fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 5th minute of the match, Murdock Maslin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Connolly saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dani Shipp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Connolly having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Wright in the 20th minute of play forced Dargal's goalkeeper Nichol Staworowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Murdock Maslin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute Sam Quinnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichol Staworowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Porter Waterland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dargal's Nichol Staworowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Wright in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Landervale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedict Millgate to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Dani Shipp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dargal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dani Shipp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dani Shipps short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Richard Connolly to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brandon Limmer's late challenge caught a Landervale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Limmer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Landervale booed when Dargal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Limmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Dargal defense, Brett Wright kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nichol Staworowski. The Dargal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nichol Staworowski should have stopped the shot. After the first half Landervale were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murdock Maslin to make the kick off. After 55 minutes, Jesse Alchin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dargal and the Landervale players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Dargal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesse Alchin to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Boyd Andrusiow shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nichol Staworowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nichol Staworowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brett Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Landervale's Richard Connolly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murdock Maslin in the 63rd minute of play. Nichol Staworowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Quinnell, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Brendan Wittber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Landervale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dargal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Landervale's Brendan Wittber got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Darell Boothey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brett Wright blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nichol Staworowski having to make a save. With 80 minutes on the clock, Porter Waterland commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dargal! The goalkeeper, Nichol Staworowski, was totally fooled by Landervale's Brendan Wittber, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Nichol Staworowski made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Boyd Andrusiow sent off a good shot on target. Dargal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Brett Wright scored to the left of an out of position Nichol Staworowski, making the score, 0-5. Nichol Staworowski came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Landervale's Brown Soekirno. But to his dismay, Brown Soekirno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 93rd minute, Darell Boothey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Landervale eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
