After a rather tough play, Caringbah's Bart Ludwick got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Max Gissane spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Caringbah's goal. 16 minutes into the match, Caringbah's Bart Ludwick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Furkan Sweet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bart Ludwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Duffield United's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Ludwick came free, but Furkan Sweet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bart Ludwick struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Furkan Sweet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caringbah. After a rather tough play, Caringbah's Bart Ludwick got a free kick in the 31st minute. 37 minutes in the game Carlos Gannan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bart Ludwick. After 39 minutes, Albert Cameron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Duffield United and the Caringbah players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Caringbah booed when Duffield United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Cameron didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Caringbah's goal looked a bit too open when Max Gissane came free, but Lorimer Gissane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duffield United's Max Gissane got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bart Ludwick to make the kick off. Quincy Warhurst was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Max Gissane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorimer Gissane having to interfere. Navin Borserio charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Navin Borserio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Caringbah's Navin Borserio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Max Gissane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Max Gissane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duffield United's Albert Cameron got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Albert Cameron off the ground. Albert Cameron hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Quincy Warhurst fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caringbah's protests and gave Quincy Warhurst a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobs Will struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Lorimer Gissane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duffield United. Ryan Renshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorimer Gissane having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Alfred Olejasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Caringbah players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Duffield United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
