Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Max Gissane made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Duffield United's Tiger Schonke got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Ryan Renshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Ridgley defense, Max Gissane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Legg. The Ridgley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Legg should have stopped the shot. After 17 played minutes Duffield United got a freekick which was hit by Tiger Schonke. Martin Legg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Gissane in the 20th minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Albert Cameron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Duffield United and the Ridgley players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albert Cameron hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Martin Legg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Duffield United's Max Gissane shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Max Gissane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Martin Legg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Nathan Prior was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ridgley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duffield United the free kick. Rudolph Baptiste hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Martin Legg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Cameron, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Ridgley's Fleming Ross got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ridgley's zone, Hal Schonke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Legg came out of the goal and Hal Schonke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Legg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Olejasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob Connolly made a kick off. When Alfred Olejasz came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Duffield United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Olejasz couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Hal Schonke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Browne Shearn's late challenge caught a Duffield United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Browne Shearn helped the player get up and apologised. Hal Schonke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Max Gissane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Alfred Olejasz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duffield United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Olejasz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Legg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nathan Prior struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Furkan Sweet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ridgley. Max Gissane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Legg having to interfere. Martin Legg was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Max Gissane capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Max Gissane really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 78th minute of the match, Max Gissane tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Legg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paz Salcedo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paz Salcedo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Albert Cameron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duffield United's Max Gissane was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With an all-out effort, Duffield United's Martin Legg threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Max Gissane, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 95th minute Matthias Renny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furkan Sweet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duffield United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
