Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrew Kean started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Abay Cenker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antony Schonke struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Bradley Szobczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caringbah. Lorimer Gissane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Kean, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Kean in the 10th minute of play forced Caringbah's goalkeeper Lorimer Gissane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bozhko Arabadzhiyski hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Jayden Kinnaird was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tremont's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caringbah the free kick. Brett Coburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorimer Gissane having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrew Kean in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorimer Gissane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st match minute, Caringbah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Schonke to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Kean in the 32nd minute of play forced Caringbah's goalkeeper Lorimer Gissane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Antony Schonke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bradley Szobczak, 1-0. Lorimer Gissane came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tremont's Andrew Kean. But to his dismay, Andrew Kean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bart Ludwick to make the kick off. Andrew Kean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nathaniel Favas hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Lorimer Gissane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Kean in the 66th minute. When Nathaniel Favas fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caringbah's protests and gave Nathaniel Favas a yellow card for diving instead. Nathaniel Favas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Brett Coburn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tremont's supporters rose to their feet, but Brett Coburn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorimer Gissane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brock Jackson's late challenge caught a Caringbah's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brock Jackson helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 80 in the game by Andrew Kean from a close distance when the talented Lorimer Gissane managed to make a qualified save. Caringbah's players were relieved. In the 89th minute, Brett Coburn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caringbah's Lorimer Gissane didn't even have to move. In the 91st minute, Brett Coburn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Brett Coburn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorimer Gissane was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the match was over Tremont could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caringbah throughout the match.
