Bradley Szobczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute, Andrew Kean fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Andrew Kean took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Legg. Martin Legg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Renny in the 18th minute of play forced Tremont's goalkeeper Bradley Szobczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Tremont's goal looked a bit too open when Earnest Algoud came free, but Bradley Szobczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Martin Legg managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Tremont's Andrew Kean fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Coburn in the 27th minute of play forced Ridgley's goalkeeper Martin Legg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 27 minutes on the clock, Danny Barry commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 26 minutes into the game, one of Ridgley:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Martin Legg, was totally fooled by Tremont's Brett Coburn, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 33 played minutes Tremont got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Danciu. After a defensive mix-up in Tremont's zone, Earnest Algoud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradley Szobczak came out of the goal and Earnest Algoud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Tremont's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Renny came free, but Bradley Szobczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes, Connor Rear mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ridgley and the Tremont players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tremont's Bent Gannan was substituted for Andrew Kean. After having played for 48 minutes, Bent Gannan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tremont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bent Gannan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bent Gannan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Cristian Danciu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tremont fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Ridgley. Jacob Connolly stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bradley Szobczak. 2-3. Nathan Prior charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nathan Prior the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, Ridgley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Prior to maneuver through the defense. Martin Legg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bozhko Arabadzhiyski in the 60th minute of the match. Earnest Algoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Szobczak having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Tremont got a freekick which was hit by Bozhko Arabadzhiyski. Bradley Szobczak made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Earnest Algoud sent off a good shot on target. Bozhko Arabadzhiyski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Legg having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Ridgley's Matthias Renny ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bradley Szobczak. Bradley Szobczak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Bozhko Arabadzhiyski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bradley Szobczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Renny in the 86th minute. Matthias Renny's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Bradley Szobczak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 99 minutes into the match, Ridgley's Matthias Renny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bradley Szobczak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Ridgley supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ridgley would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
