Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bart Ludwick made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Eddy Turnbull who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caringbah's Lorimer Gissane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Parker Magrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Parker Magrath in the 6th minute of play forced Caringbah's goalkeeper Lorimer Gissane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bart Ludwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Bart Ludwick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fletcher Sylvester. Arka Gdynia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bart Ludwick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lorimer Gissane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brice Renny, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Lorimer Gissane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddy Turnbull's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Kelvin Toth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 played minutes Caringbah got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Inwood. Brendan Mosley kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Bart Ludwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Ludwick in the 35th minute of play forced Arka Gdynia's goalkeeper Fletcher Sylvester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorimer Gissane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Turnbull, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Arka Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Kelvin Toth. In the 47th minute Kelvin Toth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorimer Gissane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Caringbah's Lorimer Gissane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Toth in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Parker Magrath made a precise shot to the right of Lorimer Gissane. Caringbah's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Parker Magrath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorimer Gissane having to interfere. Parker Magrath received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lorimer Gissane came out and tried to block the shot, but Parker Magrath slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 58th minute. 61 minutes in the game, Parker Magrath fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lorimer Gissane having to interfere. Caringbah's Lorimer Gissane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Turnbull in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Dario Markou sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorimer Gissane skillfully saved the ball. Lorimer Gissane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Turnbull, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brice Renny got free with Lorimer Gissane in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brice Renny's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lorimer Gissane firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lorimer Gissane was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Kelvin Toth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kelvin Toth really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Eddy Turnbull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Caringbah got a freekick which was hit by Antony Schonke. Lorimer Gissane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Turnbull in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Arka Gdynia booed when Caringbah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antony Schonke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arka Gdynia's Parker Magrath got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 minutes of play, Arka Gdynia's Parker Magrath made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorimer Gissane was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Caringbah's zone, Parker Magrath stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorimer Gissane came out of the goal and Parker Magrath tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Arka Gdynia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caringbah.
