Russ Macumber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION. After a rather tough play, Millfield's Bo Raison got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 17 played minutes Millfield got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence Meyers. After having played for 19 minutes, Nash Bowen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nash Bowen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Lawrence Meyers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Lawrence Meyers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordon Fortington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Castray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russ Macumber was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Corey Wilde took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordon Fortington. Jordon Fortington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Millfield's Arne Millard got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 played minutes CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Castray. Oliver Fessa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Berry Jeffress shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Macumber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Castray to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Adam Conlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes, Millfield's Steve Adamson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jordon Fortington came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Millfield reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corey Wilde in the 57th minute of play forced CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION's goalkeeper Jordon Fortington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Millfield getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Arne Millard hit a great ball. When Jonathan Castray came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Castray couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute of the match, Jonathan Castray tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Russ Macumber saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 67th minute Jonathan Castray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Macumber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordon Fortington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corey Wilde, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Ostwald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Russ Macumber. Millfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilhelm Ostwald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 77th minute, Jonathan Castray reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Russ Macumber. The goal made the score 1-2. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Castray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Russ Macumber was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Jonathan Castray in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Russ Macumber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 86th minute, Carl Hogan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wilhelm Ostwald came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilhelm Ostwald couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Castray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Russ Macumber having to make a save. The CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
